Warm Miso Ginger Dressing

(goes very well with sautéed vegetables, like bok choi)

  • 1/2 cup mirin
  • 1 1/2 miso paste
  • 1 tbsp lime or lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • a good dash of sriracha
  • a thumb's worth of ginger, grated
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  1. Mix mirin, miso, lime juice, vinegar and sriracha in a small bowl until well combined.
  2. Heat a bit of oil in a small saucepan on high heat. Add garlic and ginger and stir for for about a minute, until fragrant.
  3. Add miso mixture and cook for another minute, under slightly thickened.
  4. Remove from heat, add sesame oil.
  5. Drizzle over vegs.
