Lemonade

After my many attempts at making Ginger Beer, I decided to try another summer favorite: lemonade.

Well, it turns out it's surprisingly easy and quick to make, provided you have a couple of lemons at hand. Here's my base recipe (inspired from Elise Simply Recipes).

Ingredients (makes 1.2 litres)

• 1dl sugar (80g)
• 1dl water
• 1dl lemon juice (2 lemons)
• 1 litre cold water

Recipe

Make simple syrup by heating the sugar and 1dl water in a small saucepan until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add the lemon juice and the sugar water to a pitcher, then finish filling it with cold water (add ice if you want to serve it straightaway)
